i am fed up with the Y!A gods. i have seen so much vile content in here, so many questions posed that include nasty vile things, but my questions get deleted when i was just asking christians to explain why they are allowed to bash other religions and condemn people to hell.

the WSIDR violates the rules with every question posed because it's not in the right section and they are usually offensive to midgets or animals or something.

so with that, i say the Y!A gods are no better than the oppressive religions in this world and i am leaving here. not sure if i'll ever come back.

i give up, i'm leaving, do you care?

for those christians who say you're not the bashing sort of religion, you might want to look at what some of you wrote as answers for this poor girl http://ph.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AlgbEwmVrDjyFKuApEui6R.ISAx.?qid=20070604100559AA1kgCh&show=7#profile-info-SW3PTlRcaa

wow ummm okay. I do care. The reason I care though is because that there are questions out there that often go unanswered and everyone should have the right to obtain knowledge. But to be honest with you this is a public site, and you sound grown so you should know that people in the world have twisted opinions and thoughts on things. No matter how intelligent the question is human beings always pave a way for stupidity, also I read your question thoroughly and to me it doesn't sound like your looking for an answer. It's more of an accusation and you want to challenge Christians so you can prove them wrong. You've been hurt in some kind of way obviously by a christian but two wrongs don't make a right. I'm going to do the Christian thing and apologize for hurting you. Whoever condemnned you to hell is obviously confused because it says in the bible if you condem someone to hell your going to hell for condemning them! As a REAL christian I respect and acknowledge all religions even though I don't partake in them. Don't leave Y! ask more questions and be given knowledge. lol i sound like I'm 50, and I'm only 19. hahahaha That might be as serious i got all week. Have a good one and don't forget to smile.

Hey, I care very much. I don't think you should leave, except possibly for a short break, if you need it. I did go back and read the postings from the link you provided. Yeah, there was the usual crap from the Christians, but there were also numerous others who seemed deeply concerned with each seeker finding whichever faith best suits them. The WSIDR drives me so crazy I never even read his posts anymore. The thing is, if you give up, you've let the evil bastards win. Personally, I'm an atheist and I vigorously oppose Christian Fundamentalists, but I have much empathy for Pagans and Wiccans and Buddhists and just about everybody else. I hope you'll reconsider.....

Peace and Love.......

Riegen, unfortunately, there are too many people on here and it's hard to know when people leave why they leave this forum.

As far as your questions...you may not be aware of this, but it's one of the most frequently asked questions on this forum. In fact, I see it almost every day. So, if you are seeking answers for this question, instead of asking it once again, how about checking the list of existing questions?

It may be the way that you are wording the question. If it sounds disrespectful, your question will get flagged because it's an over-used question.

And the WSIDR is getting his questions pulled. I tried to answer one today and it was already removed.

Do I care that you are leaving. Unfortunately, I have no idea who stays and who leaves. I do care though that you are hurt. And I hope you will feel like rejoining at some point later on in the game.

Yes, I want the Government to get completely out of the health care industry and get rid of the HMO's that they created which caused this whole debacle. What I want is the free market to handle health care just as it did for the first two hundred plus years in America. Here is how it works. You pay out of pocket for your regular health care like doctor visits and tests. You purchase Catastrophic Care Insurance that will cover major problems. Our insurance policies should be our own property and paid for by us and not our employers. That would prevent the loss of coverage a change in employment status would cause. This is not rocket science. Health Care is a commodity like any other commodity including food and shelter. You need those things too, but you have to work for them. As far as the government goes, Local and State Governments and Charities should be taking care of the indigent not the Federal Government. That is how it always was. They are much closer to the point of service and make far better decisions. As far as the Federal Government goes, the best thing they can do to reign in health care costs is Tort reform to stop frivolous malpractice lawsuits and to limit recovery in valid lawsuits to actual damages and limited pain and suffering compensation. The Federal Government should also work to reduce the cost and redundancy in getting FDA approval for pharmaceutical products. So you see, if we all just stopped rushing to pass this massive and destructive health care bill and actually sat down to work on the things that need reform, getting input and ideas from everyone involved, we could actually come up with something that would make everyone happy. It should not be that difficult since 84% already have insurance and 75% of those that do are already happy with it. What makes anyone believe that to cover an additional 16% of people requires the whole system to be scrapped? Why does addressing the perceived needs of 16% of the population require the loss of liberty and the confiscation of our wealth? *

I hope you'll reconsider. I was in your spot recently. I answered a question in a way that bothered members of a certain church and got my first violation. Then I noticed that every question asked about this church garners a huge number of responses from their members; they're networking and probably reporting everyone who remotely disagrees if they can slide it by YA. I also did some digging and found that this church has a couple of affiliate sites as YA sponsors- aaha! Hence, my choice is to stay and stick up for the sane people. We're out there, hon. You might forget sometimes that people think like you because the crabby ones are more vocal, but trust me- we are here and we sympathize. Please stay.

It's all up to you, of course - leave or stay.

Y/A is not the end of the world, however, and whatever your choice is, you'll find the same kind of "unfairness" is in front of you again. Be who you are.

Personally I've enjoyed some of your questions and answers, but do I care if you leave - sorry, but not really - my concern only extends to the attitude you take with you and for the void of another reasonable responder you'll leave in this sea of "to many fantasy god-believers."

So... I'll just say, good luck.

Hon. I'm Laptop 5.0 because this is my 5th account. I was pissed as hell for a while. And I got tired of trying to be reasonable and kind in here.

But...we really do need more voices like you here. It's like Gandhi said "All that is required for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." Don't do nothing.

But I hope you will consider...to just wear teflon armor so it doesn't get to you. Realize your accounts will become deleted and play the game that they force you to play.

I know. I know, I know.

I know, I know, I know. Sigh.

I got 5 old questions deleted today, one was where I asked people to say nice things about Heron by the Sea. She was feeling a bit down, I thought it would lift her spirits up a little.

30 sweet answers, and obviously 1 reporting jerk to spoil every form of niceness. According to Yahoo, the 1 reporting jerk wins.

Sure, it wasn't a real question. But If I had asked people to say really nice things about Jesus, it would never have gotten deleted.

I know, I make a lousy case of convincing you to stay. I probably shouldn't apply for a job in advertizing. Anyway, please stay!

If you go, I go.

Well it is an individual decision taken in a democratic way.
You had a choice and you are making it.
Do some one really care in the basic way whether you are alive, you are happy, you are content in life,You live in peace etc.The truth is no.
What do you do?You simply give two hoots to others and carry on in trying ways to make Yourselves happy.
For some people serving others made them happy(Mother Theresa) For some helping others made them happy(Mohammed Younous-Nobel peace prize winner for micro credit for poor in Bangladesh)For some Killing others made them happy(Hitler and Holocaust).
But the most happiest person is one who lives life in a simple and humble manner without interfering in others lives. Now that needs a strength of character as we are made to poke in others peoples lives .
