For Christ's sake people - YES MY MOM WANTS A DOG! She has been talking about it for MONTHS! Why does everything always have to be negative around here?!

Well females run higher then males. Our female cost us $850 and the male $700 from a private breeder. Im sure you can find one at a shelter somewhere that could use a good home. And don't worry about the full bred ones. Its ok to get a mix or something. They are so cute I hope you can find one. Im sure your mom will love it!

well first off a "yorkie poo" is just a mutt with a fancy name so go to ur local shelter or humane society and find a mutt that actually needs a good home. trust me people that bred these took no consideration for the risks that might happen. but just look at it this way would u pay 500 dollars for a mutt. just think about that

A $50 donation for a shelter.

Don't start paying pedigree prices - nothing above a couple of hundred dollars - Yorkiepoos are crossbreeds, as are labradoodles, cockapoos etc etc. Don't be fooled into thinking they're purebred dogs - not that this means they're inferior in any way, they may actually be more likely to be healthy but don't let people make you pay pedigree prices!

You can expect to get ripped off by a backyard breeder for a dog that is probably unhealthy, not to mention is just a mutt. Oh, and it won't by "hypoallergenic" if that's what you're looking for.

Go to your local shelter or humane society.

Also, how do you know that your mom even wants a dog? A dog is not a gift, it's a long-term commitment. Are you prepared to care for this dog for the next 10-20 years? Can you afford vet care?

Let's see how much would you expect to pay for a mutt? Varies from shelter to shelter. Or you could go to a backyard breeder that is only out to make money. No concerns for health issues.

Shelters don't usually charge much for an adoption fee. $50-$100 maybe.

Please don't go to a back yard breeder producing mixed breeds. Save a life and cheer your mom up at the same time!

You shouldn't have to pay anything for a mixed breed dog, unless just enough to cover shots, vet.
