She was scratched in the eye yesterday and her eye watered a lot and overnight her eye got really cloudy. It is still watering, and is very cloudy, but she acts normal and doesn't seem to be irritated by her eye. Is there something that I can do to help her eye, or is she blind? Will the cloudiness clear up? I am very concerned and would hate to see her lose sight in the eye. Thanks in advance for any help that I can get!

I would take her to the vet and get her on antibiotic drops, cats nails have alot of bacterial. she's not blind but she needs to be treated right away to subdue any possible infection and such.

Usually when I see eye trouble with my cats I would think that it was an eye infection. Generally though in my experience the cats with the eye infections always had puss or crust around their eye as well. Even if you don't see any signs of the infection I would probably talk to the vet about it. If it does turn out to be an eye infection it is an easy fix. Just some eye ointment that the vet will give you and in a week or two it should be cleared up.

The dog has an eye infection from the scratch. If you're that concerned, why aren't you at the vets already? That would be the sensible action to take! It is entirely possible for the dog to lose sight in that eye if there is an infection that goes untreated.

The cloudyness of the eye suggest that your pet will probably be blind in that eye.You must take your pet to a vet,as the infection from the scratch can kill her,or cause the eye to have to be removed if left unattended.

I would take her to the vet. They can give her eye drops or ointment that will help heal the scar. If it is really bad, they may refer you to an eye specialist.

Eye problems are a common issue vets deal with....so I would definitely go asap. You dont want the problem to worsen.

Go to the vet right away. Cat scratches get infected very easily.

probably should call the vet. eye drops would clear it up but your vet would probably want to put a stain on the eye and see if that cat scratched your dogs cornea which isnt so great.

You need to bring your pup to the vets. Cats claws are a house full of bacterial. Your pup will need anitbiotics to get the eye cleared up.

If you are very concerned, take the dog to the vet. The longer you wait, the worse it will get.
