So far, it doesn't look like there's enough christians that want me to go to church. But by chance there's a sudden christian awakening and I do reach 100 stars on the above question, do you think the earth will tremble, the ground will split open, church will burst into flames and Jesus himself will jump out of the crack to deny my entrance? Or do you think god is using this as a means to get me back in church and he will perform some kind of miracle on my heart to override the logic in my brain and make me a believer again?
p.s. for those that were interested, yes, it's a Mega Church, 10,000 members, Baptist with a hint of Pentacostalism, you know, the run around the church and roll on the floor with the holy ghost type of church. With all that annointing, something is bound to happen right?

It seems kind of pointless to me. I'm a Christian, but I visited a lot of churches as an atheist and they didn't change my mind on anything. It's a heart issue, not a "going to church" issue, and no amount of stars is going to change your heart. That's completely between you and God.

I am Baptist. Don't be silly. A loving church welcomes all.
I hope you will go and find the peace and love. God will touch your heart and sounds like He is now. Don't turn away that is Satan saying NO !! You know God sill sure welcome you.
I can't imagine real Christians not wanting you in their church.
Murders, rapist, etc. have learned about God and now are true believers and attend church.
I do believe God is speaking to you and wants you back in church--please don't turn away and disapoint HIM. He wants to know you and wants you to know HIM.
Speak to a pastor and get another opinion if you like.

No, your getting 100 stars on this question is inconsequential to the church destructing or not. It is also inconsequential to whether or not it will rain tomorrow or whether I will get laid this week.
Would have thought that being an atheist would give you perspective, you're just a speck in the universe and more probably than not, your actions will have no impact at all in the general scheme of things.

i do no longer think of we've been designed to self destruct, yet oh how i like the 2nd area! I, & somebody on the element of me have beating our heads in the wall to rouse some pastime in ANTIMATTER, that's in essence, no longer something. So, definite definite, we got here from no longer something, & will pass back to no longer something. the entire thought of antimatter could be completely properly suited with Genesis. does not this is dazzling to no longer be in conflict anymore? The unanswerable question is, how might desire to we understand "no longer something" from "here?" A actuality of nature: each and every thing has an opposite, protons have electrons. Up-quarks have down-quarks. there's a cosmic symmetry on the subatomic point. Antimatter is "yin" to matter's "yang." It balances. i think all of us pass back to "no longer something" in that experience. i individually do no longer prefer to outlive how everybody is self destructing, this is they are destroying the earth with increasing acceleration, & shabarack's answer grow to be surprising. What a ponderous question--what could we do without you to strengthen our minds?

Just wear your hard hat (your skull isn't as thick as theirs), and maybe some flame-retardant clothing (again, they're retarded enough for any eventuality already) and you should be just fine. Just make sure to set up a camera at a really good angle!

I don't care if you go to church or not, that's your choice. If you're ever in the Bay Area you would be welcome at my church though...we're not like that mega church...but only if you would want to.

Don't go to catholic churches, if they see Jesus leap up, they will try to eat him because he tastes like crackers!
