I am hosting a "spa day" at my house for several of my girlfriends. I am looking for recipe ideas for the day. I want to have several appetizers throughout the day. A light/healthy lunch and several desserts. Any ideas on fancy finger food would be helpful. remember they need to stick with the "spa" theme.

Also any suggestions for unique serving ideas or fun drinks would be appreciated.

The site link below has EVERYTHING you can think of for finger foods and appetizers.

You can pick and choose on how fany or casual of a SPa Day you are hosting.

Some that are big hits and always get eaten up:
Crispy Coconut Chicken Fingers
Deviled Eggs with Bacon
Totilla Spirals
Freeze Ahead Meatballs
Mandarin Orange Chicken
California Crab Toasts

One thing my sister always makes for our "girl" get togethers and it can be made ahead of time..
Chinese Chicken Salad
3 to 4 chicken breast
1 head lettuce, shedded
2 tablespoons almonds, slivered
2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
4 green onions finely sliced
1/2 to 1 whole package won ton skins
oil for frying
Dressing Ingredients
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon sesame oil
3 tablespoons rice vinegar (reg. vinegar can be used)

Cook chicken, skin, bone, and cut into bite-sized peices.Combine lettuce, almonds, sesame seeds, and green onions in a large plastic bag. Cut won ton into strips and fry in small amount of oil until brown and crispy. Drain on paper towel. Combine remaining ingredients for dressing in a small container. Crush won ton and place in med size plastic bag. Once ready to eat, add won ton to lettuce, pour dressing into baggie. Toss and pour from bag to serve.

Spa snacks: What to serve? In terms of food, spa-type offerings should be simple and elegant. Sushi is an easy favorite, as are fruit kabobs, imported cheeses and petite fours. At a recent spa party I threw, Toffee Break crafted custom desserts to match my theme and colors. White chocolate-covered marshmallows on sticks were decorated with pink and orange sprinkles making them a delicious addition to the decor. Another delectable choice is ChocoChocoHouse.com- offering up the most adorable chocolate purses I've ever seen ($17.95 for six pieces). Remember, it is the details that dazzle.

8. Drink up: Keep cocktail or wine offerings simple yet elegant. Serve chilled white wines such as Frutezia Orchard Blend and Sunshine Blend, two sun-kissed fruit flavored blends that contain half the alcohol content compared with traditional wines. Guests should be relaxed, not rowdy.

9. Make your own wine charms: Adorn each glass with costume jewelry, hooked or wrapped around the stem of each glass, then let your guests take their charms home at the end of the party.

take cocktail bread (the little loaves by the deli), spread cream cheese on them or any mild spreadable cheese, and then put a slice of cucumber on it to make a mini sandwich. You could also add some fresh basil for a little more taste.

and a fruity one:
mix enough powdered suger and cream cheese to make a frosting, spread on wasa crackers or another bigger, more sbstantial cracker. then arrange 3-4 canned mandarin orange slices in a pretty fan.

Both recipies are good snack, and not too diffucult at all!
