Poker players in particular--what word do you use to describe someone who can play all night and still be mentally sharp?

Vegasbrad, sorry I wasn't clear about my parts of speech. I'm an English teacher, and I know better!
I am looking for a descriptive noun i.e. fortitude, stamina, tenacity; and not slang in this particular case. Though the slang is cool to know too!

Two words, Ted Forrest, that guy is a machine, I'm sure he can give you several words that can describe mental endurance.

Stamina is a one word term for mental endurance. Your question asks for a noun, and then you ask for an adjective or pronoun. No one word comes to mind that could answer both of your questions.
Anyone who can play poker all night and still be mentally sharp might be called a tweaker if chemically supported, a flea if they're playing tight and are just taking up space, or a grinder if they're sitting there until they win a minimal amount regardless of how long it takes. None of these terms are complimentary, but they're the closest casino-industry slang terms for what you ask in the second part of your question.

I know what you mean. Actually, I think "endurance" is fine all by itself, as it applies specifically to the brain. A better word, though also more closely associated with the physical body, is "stamina".
I think the best I've found so far, though, is "acuity". It's usually associated with vision/eyesight, but it actually means "sharpness" and "quality".

"Poker Shark" "Poker Genious"......."Wired on Poker!!" ...."Poker Wiz!!" (Like The "Wiz Kid" who always got called that because he was a total "Book Worm"......"Poker Worm".....I personally like "Poker Shark" the best, because just like shark's will prey on people and circle around them like vultures, so too are the mentally sharp poker player's! Poker Shark's!! Or, "Poker Chip"......as in computer chip, without it we cant work our computer's...... Or Bill Gates, start a new expression.......Call him "Poker Gates" no that's silly! "Gates?" hey barb, how would you feel if some ****** blew a puff of cigarette in your kids face? Never been to Disneyland? Never had kids?You' have blown smoke in a kids face?Its not overexaggeration, it's reality. i smoke, but i also have will power and can go 8-10 hours easily without it and i definitely don't do it in front of my kids. I guess it boils down to will power which alot of radical smokers have absolutely zero.my mail is open.
