I need info on a Up convert DVD player?

My husband wants an upconvert DVD player and I want to suprise him for Father's day. I really want to buy it and be done with it so I do not have to deal with the hours of shopping required to buy any electronics. Any suggestions or info on the subjest would be appreaciated. Please do not tell me to just let him buy it himself!!

Don't waste money on an upconverting DVD. HD Tvs can upconvert just fine. Buy an HD-DVD or Blu-ray which provide true HD video output.
