I met him while they were still dating although according to him and to her emails they were not having sex and hadnt had for a long time. They dated for 7 years never living together. He brings her memories up often and even calls our cats her cats names. He still talks to her even when I told him that it hurts my feelings.

my boyfriend jason, still talks to his ex wife rhonda as if they were best friends, they hate each other ever soo ... ( so they say}) any way they have two kids, and the conversation should be just about them, not about her! she will call and whine about how she fell, or cell bill, or how bad her day was etc, ok who cares? you two are divorced! Why is this conversation about you? And not about the kids hmmmmmm? And now you know why I get suspious and wonder what if??? Sometimes in life you have to say "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH''!!! TIME FOR ME TO MOVE ON

Yes, you should worry. Because he's already cheated once (on his ex with you) he very possibly could cheat again. He was with his ex for seven years, and he's obviously not completely over her. You may have been a rebound or you may have been a way to get back at his ex for something she had done. The fact that he won't stop talking to her even though you've asked -- that is cause for worry.

You need to let him go honey. He's obviously not over her and it's not fair to you that he dated you so quickly after breaking up with her. He doesn't need to date you if he can't give you 100% of himself and it seems she still has a piece of his heart. I would tell him you'd like to take a break for a while so you both can figure things out. I know it will suck for you but in the end, don't you want a guy who can give you 100%....and not 90%??

Goodluck.

your bf, obviously doesnt respect what you are saying and i dont thhink its nice.
your bf has to respect you, and i mean if he doesnt hes not a good bf at all.
its hard for me to sit here and say what i wuld do cuz like im not in your possition.
but like i would probably tell him that he needs to have more respect for what i feel and if he cant start doing that, its over.

Honestly he don't care about you. I bet he still with her too. You told him bring her up hurts you , he still do it. What does that tell you. He don't deserve you.

I kind of know what you mean. Why can't ex.s ever be ex.s. You don't need to reminded of her all the time.

He's not over her.

I'd pull up stakes and move on - but the choice is yours.
