I think I might have a kidney infection but it doesn't hurt when I pee. I always assumed that it would. Has anyone had a kidney infection and if so what did it feel like? What were the symptoms?

Painful urination can come from several conditions along the urinary tract. Inflammation can be from infection in the urethra (the urine channel from bladder to the outside), the bladder, the prostate, or the kidneys. But with a kidney infection the pain is more in the back or flank, and there is often higher fever and chills.

Lack of pain does not rule out a urinary tract infection. In fact, low grade infections that have been going on undetected for long periods of time can do serious damage to the kidneys.

Ive had a kidney infection and they are VERY painful....mainly in your lower back. Usually kidney infections are after a urinary tract infection, due to the infection working its way up into your kidneys.

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.

They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!

This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.

It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.

sure very a lot so.. or an excessive amount of salt consumption... you might even be consuming incorrectly in recent times and gaining an excessive amount of weight at a brief interval of time... simply pass take a few penicillin and also you must think larger at the side of a few agony capsules... then pass see a health practitioner... ASAP! earlier than you are going to finish up within the emergency room that's worst and extra steeply-priced..

kidney infections are very painful. i've had two, and i was hospitalized for both of them. my first clue was painful urination, with blood in my urine. go to a doctor and get it checked out

yes it does and the small of your back aches terribly. those were my only symptoms. I drank lots more water than usual and went to the bathroom every 15-20 minutes. that flushed it out of my system.
