#1. you do realize that on those four pages, it said the "Ford claimed" they were better then toyota.
#2. GQRS is not an independent agency, they arent even an organization, they are fords internal people. Global quality research system. (I make the highest quality aluminum products in the world in my garage.. now hire me to make somethings for you... I can claim anything i want so people will buy things from me)
#3. If fords quality was on par with toyotas, they would be seeing an increase in sales, and not going bankrupt.

Now onto the original statement.
Nissan is a company that hits and misses with cars. Sometimes they make cars that are very reliable, but other times they make junk.
you never want to buy a rental car. If all people drive rental cars like i do, good god, dont even consider it.
when i rent a car, i see=I dont have to pay for maintenance, i dont have to pay for repairs, lets see what this rental car can do!
Would you want to buy any of these cars?

youll always get a better price on rentals, because these companies know that the only way they are going to sell them, is by offering people like you a good price.
saving $3000 today, could cost you $5000 tommorow.

As a rule of thumb, I tend to avoid rentals. They are often driven hard and not cared for optimally. If you do decide to go with it, be sure to take it to a mechanic first. A Camry is a great car and should last a long time if maintained.

Well, any manufacturer, no matter who it is, will have screw-ups with their engines. It happens. Rentals are also sometimes treated poorly. However, if you treat this rental camry you want to buy like any other used car, you shouldn't get burned. Ask to see service reciepts or intervals, and ask to have it inspected by an independent mechanic. Good luck!
