"The Pilgrim's Progress"
by John Bunyan
A wonderful allegory depicting the story of sin, salvation & grace....
Basically, it's the bible in story format so that all can understand the message of the cross

I have several good books I would recommend. I noticed one answerer down below mentioned one i thought was helpful and quite logical. can we be good without God. Another One I liked was if Christ was if Christ were your Councillor by Dr. Chris Thurman. The Icons of evolution by Jonathan Wells. This scientist goes through a list of the most popular Icons people have grown up being taught as proof of evolution. Once you read ths book you will never again be afraid of some of the characters who frequent this site with unfounded claims. Another great book is Darwin Strikes back by Thomas Woodward. This book shows how the Intelligent design theorists have cmoe under heavy attack as the Darwinian establishment has sounded the alarm bells and has renewed its efforts to try and stop the fire from spreading. In the midst of the attack they have gained new support from unexpected allies. It also shows the underhanded methods some in the Darwinian establishment have resorted to to try and undermine the message. Informing read. Another iteresting but hard to aquire book is called leading lawyers look at the resurrection. People would be pleasantly surprised to find some of the greatest legal minds in history have come out in favour of the resurrection's evidence being strong that would secure a victory in any court with reasonable jurists.

Dear Karen,
My favorite book is the Bible.
But I would have a hard time picking my second favorite.
I haven't heard of the book you mentioned but I'll look for it.
I'm currently reading Can Man Live Without God by Ravi Zacharias. When I finish I will move on to Cries of the Heart, also by Ravi Zacharias. I've been enjoying all of his books.
I also want to re-read The Pilgrim's Progress soon.
I listed several of my favorite authors on my profile.
For His glory,
JOYfilled

The best book I've read was 'of mice and men'. Very good book, I'd definitely suggest you read it.
Ummm....I'm not sure...doesn't really sound like my type of book. But I guess I can see what it's about.
Favourite Christian book? Well, I haven't really read any Christian books, unless you count any books I've read who just happen to be Christian, and being Christian having almost nothing to do with the plot of the book.

1st: BIBLE - "Word of GOD"
Then
Book: The BIBLICAL Philosophy of SOULWINNING
Author: Dr. Dennis Corle
A Word from the author:
This book is not a book of methods but a book of Biblical priniciples and philosophies that should govern our methods, our motives, and our approach. I trust that the material inside this book will revolutionize your soulwinning.
Following are a few samples of the philosophies included in this book:
- Soulwinnning is not soulwinning; soulwinning is prospect hunting.
- The key to much fruit is my relationship to Christ more than any labor for Christ, although both are included.
- The Great commission declares that we are not only to reproduce, but that we are to reproduce reproducers.
- The object of involvement in soulwinning is not involvement. Involvement is always a bridge to a goal. My involvement should change the total, change the destination of others, and change me.

Olsen, the two which i in my opinion enjoyed. i admire mysteries too, i've got study plenty it takes plenty to impact me, yet those 2 authors have stood out.
