The running of the Jews was a frequent event in the Vatican City during the Renaissance. The catholic church put on elaborate celebrations for specific saints. One of them would be "the running of the Jews": People would line the streets, carrying swords and daggers. A couple of poor Jews would be then kidnapped, dressed in ridiculous costumes, and made to run down the street while being stabbed and prodded. Needless to say, they would be dead at the end of this cruel exercise.

People never cease to amaze me.... You actually think that was real?? No wonder God continues to live in this society... you people beleive anything youre exposed to in media...
