It is that time of the year for classic car shows, why not show up in it get to talking to some of the guys or girls?
If you want to give your car away ebay is great for this, but do you really want to give it away? Go to where the people who are interested in these cars are at.
Good luck ~ best thing is have fun!

One of the best places to sell a classic car is at an auto show. It's summer and there are many such local and regional events around.

If it is truly a classic, you can try a live auction, such as the Barrett-Jackson auction, a newspaper ad, or a local car club that is for the type of car you have. Maybe there is a local car dealer in your area that specializes in classics?

how about craigs list? you can also search around on-line for classic car nights at somewhere local. I know we have one right down the street from where I live on Friday nights at an old-fashioned hamburger joint. People from all around go just to check out the old cars, and many of them are for sale.

EBAY HAS FAR MORE AUDIENCE AND THE WINNING BIDDER HAS TO BUY THE CAR SINCE THE CONTRACT IS LEGALLY BINDING. ON AUTOTRADER YOU'LL GET LOTS OF INTERESTED PEOPLE WHO WILL JUST WASTE YOUR TIME BY TEST DRIVING AND THEN OFFERING YOU 50%. BUT EBAY IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE AT $80..... $40 TO LIST, $40 WHEN YOU SELL.

Maybe the price you want for the car is unrealistic. Set the car at $1 to start with no reserve, and you will sell it.

Try enthusiast sites. There is an online club for everything these days. Find a community of people who like your particular car and go with it.

ebay you might have to keep relisting it. Classic cars are only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it.
