Hi, it's an interesting question.

First: it is expensive. There are many many miles, and the terrain is not always easy.
Second: It is a sign of bad attitude towards your neighbor, friend and partner. By building a wall you increase immigrant's mortality and they are human beings, working people trying to get a better situation.
Third: It will disrupt the movement of wild life, with an important environmental impact.

You don't have build the wall because the price, but it is bad because the second and third reasons.

Saludos amigo

We should build it because it works...if it didn't work Mexico would say "Go ahead and build it."

Illegal Alien traffic in SAN LUIS, Arizona has dropped around 70 percent in some areas due to the new fence and increased patrols.

1. fences immediately decrease traffic by weeding out those who cant physically climb it.
2. Our natural fence (the desert) weeds out those who are smart.
3. If anyone decides to walk across miles of desert it is not because there is a wall blocking them elsewhere. It is because they are stupid.

As for the environmental impact...cant birds fly and dogs go around at ports of entry easier and quicker than people do. smaller animals squeeze through small openings in the fence.

plastic bags and other wind blown trash stays in Mexico where it belongs and vice versa.

enable the Mexican government pay for the wall. in very fact that immigration is going any opposite direction now. They used to get paintings, now they only get arrested. as a effect, a potato in Walmart is 89 cts, a pepper ninety 8 cts. that's sturdy questioning on our section.

no it's not bad and neither was the berlin wall, send all the immigrants back to where they came from because this country is not the meltin pot of the world, who cares that Hispanics are the ones that cook in basements do your housekeeping, and will take every other job that YOU don't want to do to be able to make an honest living to support their families back in there own countries? and are continuously taken advantage of by every greedy employer,
by hiring them to do grueling work and paying them meager paychecks. Let me ask you a question? where exactly are you from? because unless you're Native American you have NO right to determine who gets to come into this country and who doesn't everybody deserves a chance at a better life.
