In recent head to head action, you'd have to say Buddha. The Taliban blew up Buddhist statues in Feb. 2001, drawing ire (and curses) from Buddhist monks worldwide. 8 months later the Taliban were hiding in caves, and nearly 6 years later they're still hiding. If I were a Muslim in southern Thailand I'd take note.

But who would you pick to win an Allah vs. Buddha rematch?

Are you saying that the success of these groups somehow had to do with their respective Gods? In that case- Allah and Buddha cannot coexist, because the religions are mutually exclusive. No such match could ever take place. I'm muslim, and I don't know if the Taliban are in God's graces or not because I don't know what their beliefs are or who they represent: all I know about them is what fox news has told me and well you can't blame me for being a little skeptical. In that case, it could have been Allah himself who caused the Taliban to fall to such misfortune. Who knows? Who cares? I gave you a long complicated answer to a short, silly question, because I'm very bored. I apologize. I'm going to end this before I continue into oblivion.

To my knowledge neither the Gods nor Prophets have done anything lately about tipping the scales and the Bhuddists as well as my Hindu friends have a working knowledge of Karmic Law. I have a real problem envisioning Bhuddist monks or devotees levying curses, as that is more a Pagan thing since the first two rely on Karma which can come back stronger than many a spell because of the large numbers of dieties backing this practice.

Ganesh. He has extra arms and a trunk. He could wrestle Buddha and Allah to the ground, and hold them there while he ate a sandwich.

This is not some sort of supernatural boxing match. Men make war, not gods. Men prefer to think that their gods bless the wars, but this is simply a transfer of guilt to a higher authority. Christians do the same thing. The only group that takes responsibilty for it's wars appears to be atheists, but they have no god to go to.

Buddha doesn't promote violence, he taught tolerance. However Buddha was a man, a real man, Allah is just something people think exists, no proof. So in a fight between a real person and a supernatural entity...I'd go with Buddha.

Some people think that Jehovah in Hebrew means "Allah" (God) But, "Allah" corresponds, in Hebrew, to ELO.HIM' the plural of majesty of the word eloh'ah (god). A supersition arose among the Jews that prohibited them from pronouncing the divine name, Jehovah,So it became their custom that while reading the Holy Scriptures, whenever they came to the name "Jehovah", they pronounced 'Adhonai, which means 'LORD". In some places they even altered the origional Hebrew text from "Jehovah to Adhonai. Christendom followed the same course. They replaced the name Jehovah with "God" ( Allah in Arabic) and with "Lord." That contributed to the development of the false doctrine of the Trinity, which has no basis in the holy scriptures. Because of this, millions mistakenly worship Jesus and the holy spirit and consider them equal to God. Hence, the leaders both of Judaism and of Christendom share the blame for the widespread ignorance concerning the greatest name. But God prophesied: "I shall certainly sanctify my great name,....and the nations will have to know that I am Jehovah." Yes, he will make his name known among all the nations, because he is not the God of theJews, or of any other nation; he is the God of all mankind. Eze. 36:23; Gen. 22:18; os. 145:21 and Mal. 1:11

This is a ridiculous question. You could have better rephrased your question like this:

"Taliban vs. Buddha Statue: Who wins?"
