and whats the best way? Does anyone know any really good websites?

Also there is a bad word that ends in something like leesa - does anyone know the beginning bit and what it means?

Hi, Yes I know people speak Portuguese in Brasil but it is quite different and I want to learn the Brasilian way.

Other than the best way to learn the language (living in Brazil itself), sonia-portuguese.com is pretty good, it has alot of free stuff and things like giria (slang) which are valuable

Look...I really think, the best way to learn portuguese is in portuguese idiom schools(brazilian portuguese). Websites help but...the ideal is portuguese classes.

Allow-me to correct you, you would like to learn Portuguese.
In Brazil, they the Brazilian people do speak Portuguese. Your question about that word,you misspelling it,I know of no word in Portuguese sounding like that

well, u no ican help u cz my maternal language is portuguese and i was born in Brazil.

I agree of Amalia Rodriguez beeing marvellous, good written and interpreted, however for anyone finding out portuguese that would not be of so much support as good. however concentrate to it, piece of artwork that's. excellent songs to a learner: Roupa Nova - it is the identify of a band, their songs are of well phonetics and transparent vocals. chitaozinho e xororo - they are 2 guys making a song wellknown tune of well style and transparent vocals.
