2 Gb would be the best choice. From my past experience with a 6 MP camera, usually a 1 Gig card will hold around 300-350 pics. Hope this helps, have fun on your vacation, and Good Luck

I have a 6 MP Sony Cyber-shot. My memory stick is 2 GB which should give me around 640 shots at it's best setting of 6 megapixels.

a 1G sony memory card will hold about 200-230 high quality pics so a 2 or 4G should do you just fine. Sony.com has a 4G on sale for $99.00 with free shipping.

A 1 gig card with your camera set on fine should give you 600 or more pics.

all you need is a gig, and not even a full gig because I have a cybershot 7.2 megapix and my Memory stick, that I also use for PSP, had 700 megs free and I could take 250 photos at 7.2, and the more you drop down your quality (not recommended) the more photos you can take. you have a 6 megs so u can take even more.
if you go to gamestop, memorystick is around 50 bucks, for 2 gigs as well. good deal
