Here are things he does when we are together:
1) When he has not seen me in awhile, he hugs me as soon as I get there, says he misses me and asks if I missed him.
2) Picks on me but not in a mean way
3) Holds my hand to lead me through a crowd
4) Asks about my friends and introduces me to his
5) Brings up topics like marriage, kids and people living together, just his beliefs
6) Holds me and runs his fingers through my hair
7) Won't let me pay for anything even though I offer
8) Asks what I am doing for my birthday, that is not for another 3 months
9) Asks if I still talk to my ex
10) Asks about my future plans
11) Says there are jobs like what I am looking for where he lives
I took these for signs that he was interested. I told him how I felt and he made a comment about how he was glad I told him and then he said he had done the long distance thing before and hated it. We are only 3 hours away from each other.

it sure sounds to me like he's intrested in you. maybe he really likes you, but feels strongly about not doing the long distance thing. that's very understandable. would you be wiling to move for him? if so , talk to him about it. bring up moving to his area casually and see how he responds. you never know.

Three hours is too far, he is letting you know that the current set up is not acceptable to him. If you can see yourself with him forever, you need to move. That being said, this will depend on how long the two of you have been going out. If it's under a year, he is moving too fast and is needy. Not a good sign with a man, you need to be very worried if that is the case. If it's been longer than a year and you really love him, you need to start thinking long term. Is this really the guy, if so let him know that you will be moving after the two of you have been dating another year (that is not too much to ask for). This will give you a little more time to make sure, see if he changes over time. Huge step, you need to be as sure as possible.

hes definately into you. but hes hinting that mabey to move in together. long distance even 3 hrs is hard. because what if u meet a guy where u live and u dont say anything ya know he wouldnt know if ur cheating or what ever ya know

Well unless you are able to move closer to him you might be out of luck. Best bet is to try to persuade him to give the long distance thing another go.

If you only live 3 hrs away and he is calling that a long distance relationship then there is something wrong with him. Yep, you have misread him--dump him as he is only playing you.

he looks as you as his..... best "girl" friend he can chit chat with you ,socialize with you, and may have relations with you,
but all in all he knows that the last thing "relations" is not going to happen.
He is assuming since he considers you long distance he is not going to "get involved" but let me tell you.. this
the bestest friends sometimes is the bestest thing for a man and woman but let him see it dont force it on him . you know him and vice versa .
he will see it just keep being you..
