What kind of soup do people hope for whenever a cook says, "soups on"." Can you guess the number one answer given?

When a cook says "soups on",I always thought they simply meant " the food is ready, time to eat!".I think most people are hopeing for a home-made soup of some kind. Tomato,Chicken, Split-Pea, anything is better if it's home-made. The most popular kind is probably Vegetable.This is just my guess though.

My mother used to holler SOUPS ON when she set dinner on the table. Most of the time, there wasn't even any soup.

I prefer my homemade soups actually.
