No, I'll just breathe a huge sigh of relief that 8 years of having a total moron in the White House is over and we can work on getting back to normal.
I can't wait for the tell-all books to start churning out, like "I Really Was Bush's Brain", by Karl Rove, and "I Really Was Karl Rove's Brain", by Dick Cheney.
Maybe even, "Georgie Was Adopted," by George H.W. and Barbara Bush.

I doubt anything could approach that rapture fervor but I am very much anticipating his last day in office. I'm not an Atheist but that man has done so much damage that the reconstruction can't start soon enough.

What's 1-20-09? Is it a chapter & verse thing from the bible? Not being a regular churchgoer I wouldn't know. If it's from the Bible is it from the Book Of Revelations? Bush & the beast are one & the same after all.

You are implying that all Atheist are against bush and that all fundies are pro bush which is a fallacy.
But I will be happy when he is gone just because it is time for a change. But then again I guess it really depends on who replaces him

It's not just atheists who will be glad to see Mr. Bush exit office.
In fact, it's only the very nuttiest of wingnuts that continue to support this loser. The 28% (or whatever the latest number) that still "approve." And who the hell knows what's wrong with those people. I'm sure there's a lot of overlap, though, between people who approve of Bush and people who believe Noah took dinosaurs on board the Ark.

Nah, judging from the way the DNC is stumbling through their first Congressional term I doubt Kerry would have been any better. We'd probably still be in Iraq and we still wouldn't have built a refinery since 1976.
Sad.

particular, our community Democratic business enterprise is having an Inaugural Continental Breakfast, with 2 great show television feeds from D.C, to honor our better than 4 hundred volunteers who worked to decide for Obama/Biden and native applicants. a surprising day, an internet site grew to become in many respects, in American heritage.

only from the aspect that no one's religious beliefs should influence the secular workings of our government. To the extent that GWB has allowed religion to color his decisions then yes I will be glad to see that influence gone. I don't really think that it is major factor though for Bush and if he were replaced by another person basing US policy on religion it would be no improvement.

This may come as a shock, but not all atheists are liberal, or Bush haters.
That being said, I don't think we should wait that long. The case is more than adequate that several people in the current administration have commited high crimes or misdomeaners, and the appropriate action should be taken to bring the appropriate consequences.
