..So I looked it up.

Just another polymer type similar like acrylic.

Acrylic paint can be used with a wide variety of techniques and surfaces such as paper, canvas,ceramics, fabric,wood, plastic and leather. It dries easily and you can dilute acrylic colours with water.

Viscous plastic with pigments, may contain body agents to increase the volume characteristics (will it keep it's shape). Can also have catalysts which speed or slow it's drying time.
