If Christians can find an excuse not to follow these verses because they are “Pauls opinion” but the rest of the Bible is the “absolute word of God” then aren’t Christians just picking and choosing what their desires agree with ??

I say Trinity and other concepts are “Pauls Opinion” but nobody is ready to agree with that because it goes against the desires of most Christians.

That means the Bible is not the “WORD OF GOD”, it is just a book written by men and Christians follow it because its all they have….and since Paul said Christians no longer need to follow the cursed Mosaic Law…….Christians can Just live according to their desires.

If somebody says they only follow the rules of the NT and Jesus saved them from the Law in the OT, then why don’t they follow these FEW rules as written below ????

Why should the “change of Times” affect the obedience to GODs Laws ?

"Any woman who prays with her head unveiled dishonors her head. It is the same as if her head were shaven, for if a woman will not veil herself then she should cut off her hair. But if it is disgraceful for a woman to be shorn or shaven , let her wear a veil. (1 Corenthians 11 :5).

Whosoever looketh upon a woman to lust after her hath committed ADULTRY with HER already...-----(MATT 5:028)

To be discreet, chaste, keepers at HOME, good, OBEDIENT to their HUSBANDS... ------ (Timothy 2:005)

Likewise, ye wives, be in SUBJECTION to your own HUSBANDS. ----- (1PE 3:001)

Women should remain SILENT in the Church. They are NOT ALLOWED to speak, but must be in SUBMISSION, as the Law says. – (1 Corinthians 14:34)

"I permit NO woman to TEACH or have AUTHORITY over men". –( 1 Timothy 2:11-14)

I like Paul. He praises the many women who helped him in ministry. Some people thought he was antiwomen but he wasn't. If you have read all of the Bible you would know. I am sorry you pick and choose. You lose the full intent of the Bible when you do.

I agree with 2ndchapteracts. Are you seeking a genuine knowledge of how Christians interpret these passages? All of the above references must also be taken into the light of Proverbs 31:10-31. The capable wife, as described here, is not only seen looking after her family, but also doing buying real estate and selling goods that she has made! Sounds like a modern business woman. God has a plan for the roles of men and women in the Church. In the business world, women are just as capable as men! The "being subject" to her husband is in the area of spiritual matters, and does not mean she can't be a CEO of a corporation.

Huffy B I love you, Just desired to factor out that the sodomites have been a tribe of humans, the phrase sodomy at the start simply intended lewd sexual practices. Which could good of been propaganda (Christians do not bombard me for pronouncing this you all understand I'm a historic student. And I'm regularly suspicious whilst a entire humans is vilified mainly once they have been at the wasting facet.) Any method I digress There are strictures towards homosexuality within the bible as already indexed via my pricey Friends who've already spoke back. But so much virtually all are within the ancient testomony what this implies to you is your determination, for my part I do not suppose that Jesus, the historic one that's gave a rattling approximately what humans do of their possess bed room's.He used to be all approximately love and forgiveness and tolerance, humans must bear in mind that and give up bashing humans for the way in which they're. Let he who's with out sin solid the primary stone.

You have no right to say that the Bible is not the “WORD OF GOD”! You of all sinners, who do you think you are? Just because you don't like what the Bible reads. What you have done is sat here to pick and choose the phrases that favor your side of the story. Did you read the entire passage? Did you pray before doing so? Did you ask GOD to guide you through and shine understanding unto you as you read, so that it may be of value to your life? NO! you didn't therefore the devil has twisted the words in your head to make the Bible lose credibilty. May GOD forgive you for blaspheming His Holy Word........ ON THE INTERNET!!!!!!

Well you have hit the nail on the head. Women in rebellion against the word of God. They make themselves preachers, cut their hair, dress like men and call themselves Christians.

To justify themselves before God they say it was Paul's idea; the same Paul that said -- 'husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it."

A woman cannot draw that kind of love out of a man unless she stands in her place before God. Deceived women see it as "take away" when in fact it is their real place of power with God. Even the devil knows this and puts forth such things as Taliban and other religious laws far beyond God's word.

Tell me this: When these women scream subjection do they not in their hearts call subjection to be subjugation? God does call for subjection from both men and women "in their place."

God has never called for the subjugation of women or men. Having the right spirit, women and men elect to place themselves in line with God's word; and find there the only true freedom.

Nevertheless, Jezebel will have her day and her own religious practice and opinions; holding murder in her heart for the prophets of God.

Paul's opinion or God's command? That question is a matter of life or death; and many are spiritually dead having accepted the wrong answer.

As to the law. Your question is in error. The law is still with us.* One cannot ignore the Ten Commandments and live. It is now that those laws are written on our very hearts in tables of flesh and are fulfilled in spirit and in truth. For Christ was made a curse for us and righteouness to everyone that believes. It is the failure of our works under the law that is under the curse. The law remains just and holy and good.

*If not, what need would Christians have for a high priest in the heavens to interceed for them?

Jesus taught the Trinity - not Paul.

He told His disciples "go into all the world and preach the gospel, baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost." Matthew 28:19

Jesus allowed a woman who had 5 or 6 husbands (a Samaritan woman at the well) to go tell her entire village about Him. Let that liberate you women. Read John 4 about the Samaritan woman at the well with 5 husbands and living with one at the time allowed to testify to an entire village.

Good question. It's important to have a full understanding of Scripture before reading any of these quotes on their own. For example, the first half of the verse, 1 Corinthians 7:4 states, "The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does", but the very next phrase states, "likewise also the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does."

So, it is essential to read the context of each verse you pull like that.

Secondly, in Galatians 3:26-28, it states

26You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, 27for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Therefore, we must understand ALL of Paul's writings under the premise that he believes that men and women are equals. So, why would he say that women shouldn't speak in church? Perhaps it's because women did not have the opportunity to receive an education back then. Their inquistive speaking in the church would be disruptive. But, does that mean that women should not be able to speak in the church today? Not according to the premise Paul creates in Galatians.

not all Christians hide those verses. i'm part of a church that teaches and practices those verses. they are not oppressive verses at all. there is joy, peace, and safety in following God's will. the Bible says the woman is to submit to her husband and the husband is to love his wife as Christ loved the church. i personally think the man has the more difficult responsibility. May God Bless You. Keep searching for the truth.

How about the verse that says husbands are to love their wives as they do their own bodies? EPHESIANS 5:28

Also--"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her" EPHESIANS 5:25

"Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them."
COLOSSIANS 3:19

" Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers." 1 PETER 3:7

Husbands must follow Bible counsel as well. If they do not treat their wives kindly or respect them. then their prayers will be unanswered.

Read PROVERBS 10:10-31 and you will see how precious a wife and mother is to God.

My dear, you are reading the Bible with Spiritually dead eyes. You are not asking questions to gain wisdom, you are only trying to stir up trouble.

I see that you didn't included the verses where Paul praises women for their help with God's work.

Funny, you do what the media does by only including what makes your point and not the whole truth.

You foolishness is showing through your rant, excuse me, your post.
