The weather in the UK has been warmer than of late these past few days but humidity has also been quite high making it feel warmer than it actually is.
In the northeast and northwest of England it was typically 20 to 22 degrees C over the weekend and it looks set to continue like this for a little while yet.
The current warm weather can't really be put down to global warming which is more about long term averages around the planet than localised hot spells. It's got a part to play and the general trend is of upwards temps but only by a small amount each year.
The Lakes are a great place to go on a warm day especially with your boyfriend (or girlfriend in my case), hope you had a good time.

as of right now Southern California we are in the 80s. I don't mind at all, because we experience very hot weather here in the summer. So this is good for now being that we are in June. But yes many other country are experiencing different weather...way to hot or cold.

Sure, unless you live high in the mountains. But I have been hearing rumours that the icebergs in the north & south poles will eventually melt and cause the worlds biggest flood.

it's getting hotter. also due to storms brewing in other parts that brings in the effects to us.
so you get high humidity which makes a windy day still feel hot.
