I think condemning others is a product of human manipulation and has nothing to do with God. The Bible is 100% personal (human) opinion.

Here is a real truth, people will choose to believe whatever they want to believe as long as it fits in with their worldview.
To check Christianity lets really look exactly what the Bible says:
For me growing up Christian and being a strait male, I have always heard the stories of the bible being used, for example Sodom and Gamorra, the story of Lot.
But when you do the research there is one main scripture that Paul wrote in a letter to the corinthians.
1 Corinthians 6:9 (NIV)
9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders
But if you look in the "new king james it says:
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals,[a] nor sodomites
The American Standard Version says:
9 Or know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with men,
Eiter way you look at it Paul very clearly believe that homosexual activity was immoral.
That being said,
Philippians 2:12 (American Standard Version)
12 So then, my beloved, even as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;
Every man must work out there own salvation and however I am not saying homosexuality is by any means right, I am not saying it will condemn a man or women.
God looks at the heart and we all have sin. Every individual has to work out their own salvation and most Christians hate this, because the rules are less defined than my brother kirk Cameron wants to think.

God condemned it Himself- In Romans 1 for example- HOWEVER "Whosoever" is for everyone- it just depends if everyone chooses Him or not. Homosexuality is not the only sin we are condemned for- We all sin, and fall short of the glory of God. The passage after the famous John 3:16 talks about us being already condemned if we do not believe. So whosoever, is whosoever. Our choice.

Did you ever buy a car? Perhaps if you read the manual it told you to change the oil ever so frequently? Did you ever try to put sand into the engine instead of oil? What would happen?
Would you be following the instruction manual? Do you think you could go to the maker and say, " I put sand in the engine instead of oil, now fix it on the 1 year guarantee?"
Perhaps the maker has the right to stipulate how and what you do to the engine if they have to be responsible for fixing it?
What about our maker? Does he have the right to stipulate how we should use our bodies? We are told to drink a little alcohol and to enjoy alcohol; still, the Bible condemns in no uncertain terms drunkenness? Does God have the right to do that?
He forbids adultery, theft, etc? Does he have the right to do that?
Those that obey the Law of Faith have eternal life! Those that disobey have eternal death -- simple, isn't it.

certain parts being opinions is an absolute possibility since the Bible goes back more years than can be accurately recorded and kept up with. such as with each Bible that comes out, it is slightly (or greatly) modified as in removal of books, additions of words, or modifying of what something may be interpreted to mean. which homosexuality, it's just not what God wanted - when they are spoken of in the Bible (i.e. Sodom - which might be where the term "sodomize" is derived). God had his standards, such as no man shall sleep with a man or have sexual relations with a man as he should a woman nor shall man have sexual relations with animals. that's starts around Leviticus 13 i believe.

I'm a Christian and think that people who are gay are in fact, that way from birth on. When it comes to condemming certain behavior, I am quick to condemn acts of terrorism, child molestation, mass murder, etc. By the way, I have gay friends who respect my orientation, and therefore I would be hypocritical of me to condemn theirs. Either way, I hate to question the Bible, but regardless of that, I'm not going to mistreat anyone based on whether or not they prefer to pursue people of the opposite sex or same sex.

I dunno about the Bible
but God is against the use of the male body in erm..inappropriate ways. :(
so its the act of a sexual coupling (particularly between males) that God is against.
not literally homosexuals per se
and this ofcourse goes along with the teaching that whatever happens behind the doors of someone elses house is none of anybodys business, the religion of Islam speaks for this as well, for anyone to be judged by a public court in Islam, you need to have 4 eye witnesses to the direct act.
and whoever has sex infront of 4 people deserves whatever thats coming to em ^^

God gave this law to Moses to give to His people.
