The world is not round, it is a sphere. You need to add a dimension to your mental image. Try art. Study shadows and lighting. Too many people have only a rudimentary image of their world because they so love science, and religion. Try art, it will inspire you, and change your mind (for the better)

Who says that God was not himself an advance ntelligence and the methods of scientific "Evolution", was not part of his plan for creation. That's what we call "Intelligent Design". But they embrace the scientific methods and the physical realities and of course that disputes such archaic thinking, such as a "Flat Earth". Why does this belief still exist, when most beliefs adapt to our advancing knowledge of the Universe? Maybe there is no "Creation" and what we know about "Evolution" is not the whole picture...But I have not a single doubt that the Earth is not flat in a 3 Dimensional world. You are wise by not talking about "Creationism" with creationist, because your perspective is too primitive to even grasp the concept of "Creation, Intelligent Design and Evolution". If I was you I would avoid "Gieco" Insurance, because you my friend are a caveman!

Your response: Uhhhh...What?

No. Even if you disagree, there is value in talking to those with different beliefs.

Life is a process of learning. If you always talked to people who believed exactly the same things as you, how would you ever learn anything new?

If flat earthers had never talked to round earthers during the Enlightenment, how would we have ever rediscovered that the Earth is a sphere?

There are a few creationists who can be educated. So I would try to keep the communication lines open. When you determine however that you are talking to someone who is deliberately being dishonest and deceitful, then there is likely little point in continuing.

Part of the problem here is creationists don't even understand the basics of the scientific process. If they did they would know proof is only found in math and logic. Science deals with evidence and probability and never actually proves anything.

Just wait until that flat earth museum opens. Then you'll see the light and change your tune.

It all depends on you. If you feel like neither one of you is getting anything out of the discussion, then don't do it. I usually avoid it myself.

Don't forget the scientists. They are the ones who told the others.

no, as you have no proof that Creation didn't happen.

Similarly, no one has proof that Creation did happen.

All anyone knows is that things happened. What caused them to happen is anyone's guess.
