Do you support or oppose the Immigration Reform Bill proposed by John McCain, or do you believe that illegal immigrants deserve amnesty?

Um...why would you want to smack McCain with the bill? he's the one who's trying to enforce border patrol to keep them out.

No I do not support this "give away" of a free pass to citizenship to law breaking illegal aliens.Mc Cain needs to stop running for president his campaign is dead in the water.

Do you have any idea how over taxed over loaded our system is already. It cant handle the 12 to 20 million more. There is no way . They are so far behind now with legal applications that any more would demand a complete revamping of the system at what cost to the tax payers ?
The back ground checks are a lie,it cant be done in 24 hours,it wont be done. It will simply become a rubber stamped application.

Oppose

Not enough security, or enforcement - nothing is spelled out which means anyone who tries can loophole the thing to death.

Close to amnesty which the US citizens overwhelmingly do not want. Most folks know already that many if not most will not come forward and have the head of the household leave in order to seek citizenship. They do not trust our government and with good reason, most taxpayers feel the same way lately....

I don't support amnesty but I don't care for John McCain's ideas either. Cutting off our financial aid and support to Mexico and imposing sanctions until THEY stopped the illegal immigration would immediately get results. Both major political parties are aware of this but as they're in the pockets of "big business", they refuse to do anything. Think of the amount of tax dollars we'd save. Turn this thing around and have Mexico be responsible for it's own citizens. Mexico is the country that's so corrupt their citizens want to leave. Have we gone nuts? Give the problem back to them. This is another example of world opinion turning against us as the "bad guys" when we could simply have them take some responsibility. Folks, this is a no-brainer. Toss it back into their lap.

I don't think so, Scooter! Somebody should take the bill and smack McCann with it. NO AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS! When is the government going to get the point, that most Americans don't want this. We, Americans, need to find a way to get our point acrossed. Again, NO AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS!

I dont support any bill that would reward someone for breaking the law. They say you cant send 12 million people back why not send them like they came a group at a time. Let them go and knock on the front door and stop demanding we make them citizens.

I oppose any kind of amnesty for federal criminals.

Sickens me that the government of MY country expects me to go out and bust my *** working, just so racist, drug running, gang-banging, perpertually knocked up illegal aliens can live off welfare that my ever rising taxes fund.

I support anything that will get 33 million people on an electronic visa system so we know who and what that person is and has been doing.Yes, 33 million from all over.12 to 13 million Hispanics,20 to 21 million from other nations. Why don't you?I personally want to know who's here and keep track of them. Why don't you?How many are terrorists?I want to know. Why don't you?I would have no problem with a National I D card I don't have anything to hide. Why don't you want one?I know what amnesty implies. Why don't you?If you did know, you'd know it isn't amnesty.I
