hi, what is the benefit of perspiration for the plant life ?

Perspiration in plants is called transpiration. Transpiration is required to pull the water from soil by capillary action. It is necessary for the plants to transpire to keep the plant body cool. Ofcourse by this the plant looses a lot of water but it is a necessary waste.
