You've asked this already.

Religious superstition is a dangerous thing that can cause violence, hardship, racism, ethnic cleansing, and intolerance for generations to come. It causes disputes that would otherwise be easily worked out, but instead foments them into unresolvable festering wounds on society.

Israel's troubles began back in the time of Samuel, when they came and asked for a human king...God had Samuel warn them about what a human king would be like, but they insisted, kicking God out of the throne room. From that time on, their history has been one of captivity, slavery, and hardships of every kind.
Finally, they rejected God when He came to them in the person of Jesus. That was their final opportunity, but God knew that He would be rejected again.
Israel has paid dearly for their stubborn insistence on a human king, and they still seem to think a human Messiah would solve all their troubles. Poor Israel.

And poor United States, who still sing "God shed His grace on thee"....but who are insisting that God leave the White House, the court house, the school, the legislature, and every other public arena.
Did we learn anything from the history of the nation of Israel?
Apparently not.....

The most important thing that this world should consider is to see that when you are allowed to make your country, please please check, who are your neighboring countries. Are they educated, do they know the meaning of human values. Are they jealous or cooperative. Do they care not only for the people of other nations, but at least people of their own country. what is there aim in life.......live and let live or just
destruction. Never make a mistake that Israel made. They trusted their neighbors and as a result innocent children of Israel have today to pay the prize by shedding their blood. God save Israel.

Perhaps that the moral capital accumulated by centuries of horrible anti-Semitic persecution can be squandered in a decade by sufficiently ugly nationalist behaviour - even against an adversary with very little but common humanity to recommend them.

Israel was set in place as God's people, an example for the rest of the world to follow, they just keep screwing it up. God call them 'a stiff necked people', but they still have to fulfill his purpose. Some day they will get it right.

**The Israelites were God's chosen people. He defended them above all others. He blessed their flocks, children, their land, and all they had. God only wanted exclusive devotion. They kept turning to false gods and false ways of life worshiping idols. So God would get angry and punish them. He would allow them to be taken into captivity and fall by the edge of the sword.
Then he would feel compassion and God would take them back and bless them again.
Until he sent his son, Jesus. They mocked and turned against Jesus even killing him. Then God completely turned against the Israelites who were the Jews.
If some turned back to serving him as individuals he would protect them but not as a nation or race.
Today God wants exclusive devotion. Will we insist he get it?
Back then the whole nation of Israel was only as strong as it's weakest link. They stoned to death those who would not obey the law as God would take his favor away again.
We today have to take charge to see that everyone is worshiping Jehovah as he wants us to. Or our house will be abandoned to us also.**

My dear Jeff, I wish if can tell you something other
than that some Israelis didn't learn the lesson themselves because history tells us what the Jewish people faced & suffered all over the world
and we all came out and SAID"NEVER AGAIN"?!
Here's my question to you Jeff :
Did we say never again for all human being ?
or only meant to be for the Jewish people ?
I would like to hear from any Israeli Jewish or
or any Jewish person with any nationality.
Todah & Shalom
