Religious superstition is a dangerous thing that can cause violence, hardship, racism, ethnic cleansing, and intolerance for generations to come. It causes disputes that would otherwise be easily worked out, but instead foments them into unresolvable festering wounds on society.

They should learn that a people who were conquered and eventually driven from their land, can rise up and retake their homeland. The Israeli's were conquered by Babylon and Rome, occupied or driven out, and then rose again with a new, powerful nation in the 20th century. Determination, strength, courage, and sacrifice are what we can all learn from Israel. That and perseverance.

Don't negotiate with the terrorists. We saw what happend when Israel finally spoke with Arafat. The terrorists are not interested in peace because once peace comes they would loose their power.
