In fact, I have gotten over 3 and am married to my real true love now. I just learned how to make better choices.
I wasn't compatible with the 2 of the boyfriends and way too young for the first one.
I don't beleive there's only one true love, we can fall in and out of love. Just think of how many people there are on this planet, isn't it odd to think there's only one for each of us.
Don't get me wrong I hope my husband will be the last true love for me!

your first love is special but you do get over them and they always have a special place in your heart. with out a first love you never learn how to love the real life of your life.

what do you mean by getting over? If it means not able to think of him or his face, no. I have not. Maybe because it was the first time I love a person outside the boundaries of my home or care for a person more than I care for my friends. The first time you hold a boys hand or share a kiss, the first time you think not only for yourselves, the first time to say i love you.... no one can get over it.

I hope not I'm an oldie and I remember her like it was yesterday. Julie was tall and older than me her hair smelled like peaches her lips were full and soft her voice was soft as well she felt warm and fitted nicely in my arms . I loved her powder blue eyes, I had her as my own for a week then she went back to the jock she dated . but I got over her leaving me but I will never forget her she was my first real love. thanks for the tear in my eye.

Well, I still love her and consider her a friend, but it's not a sexual love or an infatuation love. It's like a sister or a cousin.
Am I over her, yes, for a long time.

I did when I realized he was a jerk and soooo wrong for me. I was just young and stupid. But I do have another love I never really got over. It is not bad enough to not move on and date guys that are better for me.

Truth is, if you really loved someone, you will never forget that feeling or that person. You probably won't spend your whole life thinking about them, but you will also never forget them or what you shared.
