taking time out to understand your partner is a sign that you are interested in this persons felling needs and emotions too.
it means you care.
when you eventually get to understand your partner it makes communication alot easier even without having to use words.
fluidity comes to play.
less scuffles and arguments etc etc...
listen....and learn.

Because by knowing your partner you will know if he/she will run at the first sight of trouble or will they stick by you
To know your partner is important becuase by this you will learn to trust your partner becuase you know what he/she will do in situations

I think it will be boring to understand your partner and to know his reactions and how he will respond to everything. You can tell what he will wear, where he will go, what he will do. No surprises in your life. Don't you think it is so boring???
