What is the best smelling candles; including brand name & where can i purchase it in New York City?

I am a self proclaimed candle freak, have tried them all. And my favorite still, above and beyond, is Yankee Candle Company. It is just the best scent, and has optimum room coverage! The scent is hard to say, because I love so many, but I think my favorite would be A Midsummers Night. Now run and find a store near you, and take a whiff of this one! :)

I'm with alot of the people on here in saying Yankee Candles are the best...they have sooo many different scents and they last for a long time and burn really good. They also make the entire room smell instead of just the area around the candle. I'm a fruity type of person so I like Honeydew Melon but I sometimes just choose the candle color that works best for the room it's in...like the laundry room has a linen scent one and the guest bathroom has a sweetpea because it's pink which goes well in the bathroom...

Candle scents are really a personal thing. What one person likes another person doesn't. The best candle I have found to buy is from Gold Canyon Candles. The candles are great smelling and long burning. I have winter and summer time favorites. Sugar Cookie is a huge seller, but Vanilla is very popular too. Home interiors! Their lemon is my favorite!
Oh yeah where to buy them...go to the mall and look for a candle store and just go smelling because everyone likes different scents...vanilla is very popular! Good hunting

Any Lavender in the bed room,and i use a diffuser.Clean linen smells good throughout the home.Yankee candles are the strongest scented and burn well.

Yankee Candles smell very nice...burn well too. I like Vanilla myself but all the scents are wonderful.

I like Gardenia and Honeysuckle but Vanilla is also very good and the smell is very welcoming.
I'm also a very big candle fanatic, especially when it comes to Yankee Candles.

I love the smell of lavender. It is very soothing and therapeutic. But no advice on where to buy it. Not living in New York.
