parents are usually right....if not always! they havent experienced an extra 20-40 yrs life for nothing. It may suprise you that your parents did everything you did and probably more. us kids think we are the only ones and the first to do these things. parents dont understand what we're going thru.....RAINCHECK.....they've been there, done that.....
so listen to them. they are guiding you for a reason. to protect you and hope you grow up with all the best advice. its not a punishment.... its advice. and youd be wise to listen to them. They had a much harder time than you did. kids have it easy these days. DONT FEEL LIKE WORKING? rather surf? hey, just go on the unemployment and let every other baastard work 6 days to support your lifestyle. But on the other hand if thats the worst thing youve done, you are doing okay. you will get their trust back. youve disappointed them, thats all. im sure they still trust you and love you unconditionally. They dont like to see their kids upset. thats all. just be a nice, thoughtful person and youll be set. Agreat way to get points.......just walk in the room and say hey mum, do you need any help with anything? mums love that shiit! you might get stuck with a bad job, but the points are worth it. i went from having a dad and stepmom never wanting to see me again, to now, helping me out at the drop of a hat, including me in everything and loving me unconditionally....it took 15 years to build their trust. A long time but MAN...It was worth it in the longrun. .....My dad lent me (hes not rich) $100,000.00 to put towards an apartment. Total blind faith. i know he expected me to stuff up and disappoint him, and rip him off. I didnt. I work 6 days a week and lived on $80 a week. food petrol, beer, makeup, shampoo etc...anything except bills.. i did it! I paid him off on low paying jobs in 6 years! I think their jaws are still hanging on the ground. Im a happy little pig in shiit....WHY? because now he trusts me more than anything. he knows i am not useless, it depends what or who you want in life. you can do anything you put your mind to..and remember....its all about..points.......good luck... my parents disliked every one of my boyfriends. (they never told me at the time) the only one they liked is the one i am still with after 15 years......see, they are pretty good judges of characters really....

Tell them just what you wrote. Your parents, if they are reasonable, understand you are going to do some things they don't like. Remember alot of parental advice comes from personal experience. I'm betting one or the other of them got into the same sort of situation. Part of separating from your children is realizing that some times they just have to see things through and let the child experience something that will make the lesson more real. Remember how this situation makes you feel, and do what you can to recognize it in the future and avoid it. That's what is going to make your parents trust your judgment.
