I am a firm believer that guys when they cheat do not need that same emotional connection and therefore can hit it and forget it where as if a girl cheats it usually has much more involved. Coworkers....emails......met someone out one night and have talked for a while, etc. Guys don't get attached like girls do so that's why I think it's worse when chicks cheat. Another thing, if you are a girl and you have cheated why did you do it and would you do it again?

I haven't cheated, and I certainly do not plan to. I would rather end a relationship than become something I do not respect.

I think there are plenty of women who can also "hit it and forget it" just like there are plenty of men who can get emotionally involved. It is all wrong on either level. Cheating is a selfish act period. That extends to both sexes.

Its bad either way no matter if its a guy cheating or a girl because some poor person is getting their heart ripped out by it. I can't speak for guys and why they cheat, but I do think that you are right about them not being emmotionally attatched. Not all girls get emmotionally attatched either but most do. I think at first its just an attraction that turns into a little more. ANd sense women place more emmotions into s*x than men do, its harder for us to not get attatched. But I have cheated myself and I feel pretty bad for it. My situation was that I was with this realy bad mentally abusive guy. Everytime that I just tried to break it off straight up, he would basically make my life hell until i would take him back so he would stop. I got the bright Idea in my head that I was going to make him break up with me. SO, There were a couple of times that I cheated on him with a guy. But I had some hope that this new guy would rescue me from him and be good to me. But none of them ever worked out. In the end my bf wouldn't give up and he'd become more possessive over me and he would hold it over my head. It took me six yrs to finally break free of him, and ironically it took me finding someone else. Which whom im still with till this day and I haven't cheated on him not one time.

When guys and girls cheat, there's no difference. The pain is as bad for both of them and it still creates a gigantic mess no matter what.

You're generalizing when you say that guys only cheat for sex and do not need the same emotional connection as girls do when THEY cheat because sometimes it's the total opposite. Maybe if you ever plan to cheat it may only be for sex but a girl can cheat on you only for the sex as well.

You can't just lump them into two categories. Humanity isn't as simple as that. There's a million ways why both women and men cheat.

1.I used to cheat to prove a point.
He cheated too...

2.The guy was hot.
I'm a female and did not have to have an emotional connection to have sex. That is a myth.

3.I don't cheat anymore and have been on longtime monogomous relationship now....
Cheating is equally painful for both partners..Don't fool yourself. If you choose to do it,she has the same right...
But it's best not to cheat at all.
