Of course Heineken is the best beer ;) I've tried so many types and still nothing can be compared to Heineken. And there is something more that must be said, it is not only the taste that is unique but it is the whole industry. The adds, the tv commercials even the glasses, that's the point in Heineken, being the best :}

Heineken is the best only when your choices are between a Heiney, Bud and Corona. If those were my only choices then I'd be forced to agree with you however since they aren't I will say that you don't know good beer.

My top 5 commercial beers:

Cooper's Sparking Ale
Guinness draught (forget the bottle, it has to be on tap)
Pilsner Urquel
Dieu du Ciel Aphrodisiaque
Maudite

It is definitely the best beer in the world! I actually work for Heineken's advertising agency, so I suppose I might be a bit biased in this regard, hehehe!

Meet you there...

no one has ever been able to tell me heiniken is the best with a strait face.most beers brewed in belgium or australia 4 example are far better brews.....who needs heineken when we have james squires , coopers , little creatures , cascade etc etc etc - as good as the monks of belgium that have been brewing for 1000+ years ........cheers

well, I prefer Alexander Keith's pale ale it tastes better for me!!! but I am not saying that Heineken is bad it is for sure among the best :)

about the other brands the worse is Budweiser even though I from st.louis MO it is really bad they really should consider stop using the rice in brewing.

Heineken is best when in Holland. I stopped trusting it when they started to brew outside of Holland.

Heineken used to be the best, but when they went global, ... and started putting it in cans.... It lost its appeal to me.
I like Boddington's Ale, as well Guinness way better.

It is one of many fine beers in the world. Certainly in the top ten.
I love it. It is a tad hoppy tasting though.

I suppose it is ... ... if you like extremely skunky light lagers. "Heine" is one of the worst mass-produced beers in the world, if you ask me. I doubt this'll be a popular answer, but oh well ... there are literally thousands of better beers in the world.

Sorry Heine heads.

I think it is one of the top beer if not number 1. Just my opinion of course.
