Why don't the cops threaten them to leave our country and never return after prison. We don't want meth users in our country and it's ok to hate them.

The general populace does not understand what an epidemic meth is becoming. Children as young as 12 and 13 are trying meth, and becoming addicts.

I've interviewed alot of drug addicts, when they spend all their money getting high - they steal other peoples money. They steal the radio out of your car, they steal your bike from your back yard. They steal your wallet from your pocket - they will do anything and everything to get what they need to get their next fix.

Unfortunately, we can't deport them. Posession of methampetamine is a felony in California pursuant to 11377 H&S, being under the influence of a cns stimulant, such as methamphetamine, is a misdemenor pursuant 11550 H&S.

Unfortunately, the good citizens of Calfornia chose to enact Prop 36, which allows many of these drugs users to prosper, never receiving any real punishment.

As law enforcement officers, we do our best in apprehending these criminals. The DA's office is often neglectful in prosecution, and choose alternate punishments, such as Prop 36 in lieu of actual jail time. Probation is neglectful in punishing violators of probation, and our elected government is neglectful is enacting strong legislation and punishments for repeat offenders.

They can only be helped if they want help... and I've only met one - one out of hundreds that ever did.

So which was it, your daddy was a meth-head, or your mommy?

Don't you know the police (cops) to you, cant order people to leave the country. Why should an American problem be forced onto some other country, do you think there is a country
called Meth-land??

And it's not ok to hate anybody

Your reactions and posts suggest you are a very naive little boy.
Time to grow up and research how the law & life works.

I take it you hate meth users? Did you ever stop and think that they are just like you and me only difference is they have a drug problem. Meth is the largest drug problem in the US today. A meth user is a human being. Meth users have rights just like you and me. Meth users can be helped but they have to want to get off the drug before anyone can help them. Meth users also have to change their lifestyles to stay off the drug, by this they have to quit hanging with the ones they run around with and abuse drugs with--this is a major step for them, as meth is everywhere and sometimes it requires them to move away from were they live, but it can be done, I know I've taken in kids on meth to get them off the streets and try and help them. They have a rough time getting back on track, but if they want to they can.
Those that refuse to change can only look forward to spending time in jail, prison, rehab and finally death.
Meth changes a person. Most I've came into contact with become very abusive, and will do anything to get their next fix. Meth users can be very dangerous, depending on their state of mind. But a meth user is still a human being and they still have rights. Cops do not threaten them to leave the US as they have no right to threaten them. It's ok to hate the drug, but be careful of hating someone because they use drugs as this could end up with you going to jail due to hate crime.

I don't think its JUST the meth. Someone also has to have SOME sort of predisposition to do horrible things. Meth doesn't make horrible people, it makes horrible people worse.

The only reason someone is hooked on meth is because they never did any good heroin.

Thats very American of you. Have you ever read the Bill of Rights. Or ever heard about how once you "do your time", you can not be punished for it still, Ex Post Facto?

Didn't think so.
