A tribute to Jesus, Son of God.

I noticed quite a few people were really thankful to Jesus because he died for their sins. But no one thanked him for teaching and offering a philosophy of peace. It bothers me that the man spent years teaching and defining a way of life but all we remember is that he died horribly. Something is wrong with that. Jesus told us what the sins were and how to avoid them. Yet all we thank him for is dying.
I thank Jesus because he lived and shared his wisdom with us. His words are still there to read and that is what he did for me.
How can we believe in the man if we don't believe in what he stood for. Peace and understanding.

How many really understand just WHAT Jesus has done.?
When Adam was created, the bible says nothing about him HAVING to grow old and die. This only came about after he had been warned about disobedience.
(Genesis 2:16-17) And Jehovah God also laid this command upon the man: “From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. 17 But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.”

And we have inherited this from Adam. ever since we have all died.
But it was not in God's original plan.
His plan was for us to live forever.
And He has promised that a time will come when we WILL live without death and sickness.
(Revelation 21:4) And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

But there is no such thing as a free lunch.

To do this LEGALLY, with all the angels looking on, involved a price...a ransom sacrifice.
Jesus supplied this with his earthly life.
Jesus dies and we get life...without death.
Jesus' Father in heaven then rewards Jesus with GLORY alongside him [ Almighty God]
(John 17:5) So now you, Father, glorify me alongside yourself with the glory that I had alongside you before the world was.

And Jesus WAS alongside his Father before the world was created.
Proverbs 8; 22-31.
Jesus was his Father's very first creation.
And what better way to give a tribute to Jesus than to p[rove with scripture just what he did for us.

Dear Friend

I love Jesus because he gave himself as a sacrifice for my sin, and the sin of everybody else. As to what he has done for me since, I can not even begin to praise him enough, for i am just an unworthy servant.

God Bless

Yes, and I love Jesus for him. Jesus is the best besides his Father. And there is none like him. To me he is more than special.

ermmm .....
what has he done ?

by allowing himself to be killed,
it so does not mean that the sins of his followers are forgiven.
after all he isn't god to decide that, he was just a messenger of Allah..
but people miss-interpret him as being the son of god..
that is ridiculous as I dont hink god has a wife..

think logically, my dear

I love Zeus and the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Do you love the idea of your ego preaching to people in here? Does it give you a sense of worth, specialness, and identity?
