I love ratties! I've had 7 in the last 2 years and I'll always have pet rats! They're so loving and fun. ( I have a hamster, mice and a gerbil, too, and (don't tell them this) but my rats are definitely my favorites!)

I love pretty much every animal. I've had all sorts of different rodents, one includes a rat. They are good pets actually. My aunt and uncle have one as well and they let him walk all around they say hes just like a small cat.

Rats are very even tempered and make very nice pets. The only thing is you have to keep their cage very clean or you get that rodent smell in the house.
I heard the number one phobia for men is rats, then comes snakes. I love both!

I have had both a pet rat and a hamster. I got rid of the rat when he bit me and drew blood...the hamster died. I don't think I would want another one cuz they are more work than I perfer to clean up after but I don't hate them cuz they are rodents, just stinky if you wait too long to clean the cage...plus the bath tub nuggets were a bit gross...lol.

I like pet rats, a lot. I do NOT care for their natural odor, but I find them to be very smart, friendly and sweet.

I've had a mouse, rat, gerbil, hamster, ferret and a ginnea [spelling?] pig before, and I love having them. So does my mom=] They're fun to play with and it bothers no one in the house. [oh, btw: i didnt have all those at the same time lol]

i love rats! had one named flower who used to steal my older sister's homework and hide it behind the drawers. they're so sweet and smart.
