Now that Bush has admitted that global warming is real, do you feel that he is too late with his turn around?

Do you feel that Bush is only making an opinion of this issue to better his "nice and supportive" image as one of his last attempts as president?

It is too late. But, it would be great if they could take some sort of action now and stop the planet from being harmed any further.

Yes, the people are concerned about global warming and he was not the last time around, focusing on terrorism instead.

The elections are drawing closer, so yes i feel this is one of his ploys to slowly move away from the Iraq issue into trying to get sympathy votes from the citizens of USA.

Hopefully, he does not get that and a new term. But perhaps with his new stance on global warming and if something concrete and useful actually is done then, we should applaud him for his work. But let it be his last graceful work in the government.

Its a problem and it has been a problem, way before Bush ever became president. I don't think global warming is fault. Are we to believe that it would only take 8 short years to straighten the mess out that we all created?

Its cool that he knows its happening, and everyone that want to get it straightened out is cool.

Its going to take a long time to get this fixed, that is if it ever can be fixed. Its going to take all of us to help this get going, at least not to get worse.

Even if we stopped screwing up the Earth now, global warming would still get worse for a long while. Besides they make so much money off of oil and everything else, there's no way they would give that up they don't give a crap about the earth, they just assume they won't be around to see it get much worse.

Bush is slow to realize whats going on. He is actually trying to make ammends though. I found Gates a competent Secretary of state, which is a departure from his cronyism. He's like a king surrounded by sinister ministers. CHeney is like Cardinal Richeleau or Resputin. They all give him bad ideas to sign off and then hide him from the public to prevent him from seeing how the country is falling apart. Bush is not blameless since he hired all of them initially. As to your guestion he might try to improve his image before he leaves, but I do see a change in direction as well for him.
