I guess it depends on how you interpret the question. If you are you going to the dessert island willingly, then of course you would have a boat to bring you to the island to begin with. On the other hand, you could have been in the boat that was taking you there, run into a storm, your boat is destroyed and you are left on the dessert island with nothing but the three things you were able to salvage from the wreckage of your boat.

because of the fact this is not any relaxing! besides could quite be caught on an island or a boat, maximum in all risk in case you're caught on a desert island you're unlikely to understand which thank you to pass and except you're a sailor you will wander off at sea...
