The apostle Paul says in Hebrews 1:2 that "these last days" were occurring then. I think that the last days are a self-fulfilling prophecy that occur repeatedly in communities around the world due to local conditions, including availability of supplies (Isaiah 3), local justice issues (Isaiah 5) etc. The Bible gives advice to those who wish to pursue a non-violent attitude towards strife in the community.

2 Peter 3:
For YOU know this first, that in the last days there will come ridiculers with their ridicule, proceeding according to their own desires and saying: “Where is this promised presence of his? Why, from the day our forefathers fell asleep [in death], all things are continuing exactly as from creation’s beginning.”
For, according to their wish, this fact escapes their notice, that there were heavens from of old and an earth standing compactly out of water and in the midst of water by the word of God; and by those [means] the world of that time suffered destruction when it was deluged with water. But by the same word the heavens and the earth that are now are stored up for fire and are being reserved to the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly men...
...However, let this one fact not be escaping YOUR notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. Yet Jehovah’s day will come as a thief"..
Shawn's answers and questions you will notice are filled with apostasy, blasphemy, stabs at our Grand Creator, and with only the ability to move weak minds such as his. If you note, Satan behaves exactly like this, but it is those who truly love Jehovah God where he has the most problem with; he tries so hard to hurt these ones and apparently, judging by this question, he has succeeded with the questioner. He is one of the ridiculers in these last days...we are closest to the end than we ever have been. The questioner above is a simily to what 2 Peter speaks about above in my answer; an abuser, a reviler, a liar. Be careful of these blaspheming ones.)
The intelligent one knows that about 90% of the world's population will lose their lives at Armageddon or be resurrected to 'judgement'---that is the second death. Be careful and never be afraid to wear one's suit of armor.
It means your life.

No we are still in the age of Grace just like they were. We are looking toward the end of Grace into the last days just like they were. Its like day and night. Night is the same right after the dusk as it is right before dawn.

People have been predicting the end of times since the beginning of time. Jesus also said we shall not know the time or place.

I hope not, I'd love to finally see the end of the Pirates of the Caribbean saga, if it ever has an ending.
