no,you are not supposed to believe anything. What you really should do,however,is learn evolutionary theory. After learning what it actually says, then if you don't think it is sound, then you may reject it. It is actually on more solid footing than the theory of gravity, for which we have yet to discover the mechanism of energy transfer. The theory of gravity encompasses the Law of gravity, which simply states that all matter in the universe attracts all other matter in the universe, but we have yet to detect the method,a HYPOTHETICAL particle called the graviton. TOE,however, does NOT state we came from a rock,Creationism does. It has been tested, not only tested but successfully predicted. It is real,it is a fact,it is proven. Learn about it. Evolution stands whether or not the BB happened, whether or not the first life form came about naturally, seeded by aliens,or "poofed" by God. Evolution is not even actually debated, just a few nut jobs would have you believe there is any challenge to it whatsoever. Do yourself a favor, what harm could knowledge bring. Learn what TOE is,then make an informed decision

No.
Like any other theory we accept that it's one possibility. It has not been proven so you take it as an answer that could be right but not a truth that we know is right. If you can test a thing and achieve predictable consistent results then its a truth or a fact. Pure water boils at one 212 degrees F at sea level. Thats a fact. Evolution is a theory. Believe it if you want to but those who do are no more correct then those who believe in a creator until one or the other is proven.

No, nor should we believe that there is a man living in a cloud who for some reason, is afraid to show up. Evolution needs to be investigated more(I think that they are doing that). And the proof that there is a man living in a cloud must come under closer scrutiny(unfortunately, the religions don't want to talk about that).

No.

A minute ago you said a banana, now a rock. And you were wrong both times.

How about you stop guessing what the theory of evolution says, and actually look it up. Or just f-ing *ask*!

Don't just demonstrate (by this confused guessing) that you have rejected a theory despite having NO CLUE what it says. Ask somebody what evolution is.

And don't just go to anti-evolution sources to explain evolution to you ... that's like going to an atheism source to explain Christianity to you ... or to an anti-semitic source to have them explain Judaism.

In case you can't tell, I am being sarcastic and my sarcasm evolved from this question.

You obviously evolved from a coconut because you still have one for a head.

I believe that they say it's from some sort of slime in the ocean.

Then they say that we came from monkeys, that AIDS came from monkeys and they have a monkey story for everything they don't have a clue about.

Notice how they're sort of dancing around your question in the replies above, not really saying anything sensible and trying to make it look like you're the one who's stupid.

Now they're doing it below also, unable to present any real answer in an intelligent debate!

No evolutionist ANYWHERE is going to try to tell you that life evolved from rocks.

Ok course, that explains why some people that believe in evolution still have rocks in their heads.

I notice the answers become harsher, because getting life from a rock takes more faith than believing in God.

I don't think you understand exactly what the Theory of Evolution is. Why don't you read up on it and get back to us.
