The German army experimented with night vision devises. They were not standard equipment on any fielded Tiger Tanks.

The Germans tried to use an infra-red sighting system calibrated to the gun, but had limited sucess due to the calibration being off set by tank movement, The light projecter was mounted on a half-track, the receiver on the tank turret.
I know for sure it was tried with the Panther but look at the posts below for more info.
