If you look in the mirror all the time, you won't see it. You will notice it in the way your clothes fit and the other things that are relative to you. The diet you described IS unhealthy, but temporary because you can not sustain it. Make sure they are healthy calories. You can expect to lose one pound of fat for every 3,500 calorie loss. Depending on how you are exercising, you can lose about one pound of fat per week. Fat is not the only thing on your body, tough, so you can lose additional weight but it won't be fat...and you don't want to lose anything else besides fat. If you are committed to 2 hours per day of exercising, go slow. Find out what your maximum heart rate is (there is a chart in the club) and go at 70% of that for as long as you can. That will burn fat the fastest way possible. It won't feel difficult. Learn how to check your heart rate and don't go over 70%. Remember, it will take you a couple of minutes to get up to that rate. If you do this, you will notice it within the first two pounds of fat loss. Rember fat is different from weight. Drink lots of water. You will be heavier (water is 8 pounds per gallon), but your body will be changing the way it looks.

Its not what the scale says its how you feel.Another way to tell is how your clothes fit you now.
Cardio will help you lose weight but will not tighten flabby skin. For best results I suggest circuit training that is a combination of cardio and strength training . Weight training will not bulk you up. It will help tighten and tone your body. If your not quite familiar with weights try classes at your local gym. Many gyms offer great classes that will help you reach your goals sooner. If your not a member of any gym many offer a free trial period to try them out.

First off 10 lbs is easy for you to miss if you are looking at yourself everyday in the mirror it isn't noticable. Take a picture of you now and then one of you a month later then compare.

I'm sure there are results- only you don't see it.
Compare yourself with a before pic. Or ask a friend to notise if there's a difference.
You can't NOT have results after losing 10 lbs.

Look at your body as a whole. Ten pounds to someone not overweight before, is going to be subtle.

It's unfortunate that the last one to see any change is the one who is changing. it's a perspective that you have about yourself, you've seen yourself in the changing process and don't even notice it, but others will ;)

if you lose weight by starving/depriving yourself all you lose is water weight and muscle (a pound of fat takes up more space than a pound of muscle) and 10lbs of that wouldnt really show. if you would lose the same amount of fat - you would see results deffinately.
