My opinion is that this does have a possibility of happening. The world is starting to tire ofthe US using force and threats to pass their will onto the rest of the world. When dealing with a bully, many times, the only way to get the bully's attention is through force. Russia and China do have immense nuclear capabilities, and they are not democratic or capitalistic as we are. But if you were to make assumptions like Russia and China teaming up against America, you cannot forget about Korea and Iran. North Korea and Iran have both been conducting nuclear tests over the past five months, as reported by CNN, BBC, CSPAN, and the AP. Both of them have gone on record stating that they will not be pushed around my America might and will do anything they feel just to prove that they are the mightiest in the land. Do you remember the arguments that you and your friends would get into as children.... my father's better than your's? That argument would often times erupt into a little scuttle or fight. Same concept now, only there won't be fists thrown. It will start off as nuclear strikes on all nations involved, then with whoever is left after the fallout, that will be when the ground war will begin. Eventually we will turn the entire world into one huge Iraq, where there is nothing but civil unrest and no unity amongst the nations or races.

No actual country with normal leadership will ever strike the U.S. first (or any other nuclear power) because of mutual assured destructions. It would take the Russian missiles around a half hour to arrive giving the U.S. ample time to retaliate at least with submarine launched missiles.
The only things that would do so are countries with nothing to lose (or insane leadership) and neither Russia or China fit the mold. Terrorism is always a possibility.

No. China and Russia may become powerful allies, but no nation in their right mind would START a nuclear war with the U.S. Because that my friend, would just mean the end of human life in the attacking countries, at a minimum.

Please stop believing nuclear war can not happen. Those terrible thermo-nuclear explosions with the fallout that kills for years, that's mostly Hollywood. Yes we have those, but if one bomb can level Moscow, how come the ICBM is designed to carry multiple war heads? would it not make more sense to build the ICBM to deliver one device? The reason is a lot of the nuclear weapons we have are "Enhanced Radiation Weapons" ERW is basically a nuclear weapon except it's blast range is smaller and it does not leave behind fallout that kills for years and endangers other assets outside the conflict zone. Where as one of those 'end of the world' bombs can level Moscow, it would take 10 to 20 ERW and ground personnel could enter the target zone within days at the most.
So please expect that in the near future there will be a nuclear war. Between who? I got my money on India/Pakistan, but that's just because I don't want to think that the international banking conglomerate that controls our govt would allow us to nuke someone. Besides we have gone to war to protect their banking interests (not oil) I think they will let us slide on being the bad-guy twice in a row. China will not do anything the banking combine does not want. And as long as OPEC does not complain about Russian oil production, Russia will not do anything the bank would not approve of. As long as America is slowly being inched towards equal fuel prices with the EU, OPEC will not complain about Russia. As long as OPEC continues to trade oil in American dollars, America will raise it’s fuel prices, Increase it’s debt and perpetuate the un-constitutional banking system in place in America which controls our govt and is controlled itself by the global banking thugs.

A nuclear war means destruction of the world and there is every possibility that the USA would retaliate if they are attacked. Under such circumstances, I don't think that Russia and China would do such a foolish thing which would endanger them also. So the possibility is very bleak.

No. They have little in the way of common interest, and nothing to gain by doing so. China is one of the US's largest trading partners. In the bad old days of communism, such a pairing might have been conceivable, but Russia is no longer communist, and neither is China (if you look at what they are actually doing).

No. Who would China sell all their stuff to? The US is their biggest customer. Their economy goes nowhere without the US consumer constantly whipping out that credit card. Also, China owns around a trillion dollars in US Treasury bonds, among other assets in America. They also own the mortgages on a large number of our houses. Why the would they launch a war when it would hurt them as much as it would hurt us? Even if they nuked a bunch of our cities, our ICBMs in the midwest and in our submarine force would still exist, and who do you think we'd shoot them at?

I think that any two countries could combine to make war on a third. However, I think the deliberate initial use of nuclear weapons is very unlikely. They make too much mess and smash up too much stuff that you might want after the war.

I think not. I honestly think that no major country will start a nuke war. There is too much to loose. While the Russians and the China are 'pals' so to speak. I think they both lack the desire to start that kind of a conflict.

I don't think so, we have trident missiles in subs that carry enough warheads to take both countries out. Also Russia has a lot on it plate. Trying to get oil from Iran and numberous rebellions in the south.
