I'm not sure if I understand the question. Are you referring to our troops or actual Iraqis with amputees? Either way-have a heart. Let us not forget that the Iraqi people did not create this war and their people are also suffering. Even if you don't agree with or support the war, at least acknowledge the fact that there are victims on both sides. I'm praying for them ALL and I'm affiliated with the military. For those two paratroopers-cool beans. They obviously didn't give up on me, so I'm not about to give up on them! I hope they make it!....'neocon snowjob'?!

Jackass. Some guy or girl who gets something blown off and then gets back in the game and asks for more is an inspiration and example to you, me and everyone else in this country. If there are enough of them, maybe we won't go totally down the tubes. I have been to war and watched most of my friends and family go to war. Neocon schmeocon, combat amputees and politics do NOT belong in the same thought process. Go fix yourself.

There are about 1 million amputees in the U.S., mostly because of diabetes and accidents. If this gear can survive combat, it can survive civilian usage. Some people born without legs can walk for the first time for instance.

No. It is about those who serve continuing to serve and believing in what they do despite a grievous wound that many would use as an excuse to limit themselves. Give them some credit.

A lot will not come back with or without limbs. They will come back in body bags.
