Try Oranjestad.

It offers shopping and sightseeings. It's easy to walk on foot.

You would thouroughly enjoy the high rise hotel area but it is costly from the room to the food a better deal can be found at the Eagle Beach area. The low-rise hotels are reasonable and a favorite is La Cabana, they have a lot of entertainment and a Happy Hour is going from 2:00 to 7pm daily.

Oranjestadt is definetly fun with plenty to do since it is the big city. Shopping, the theater, nightly entertainment.

Whatever you do and wherever you stay, Aruba's police force has made it the #1 priority to keep crime down for their visitors. Each hotel pays a tax, apx 53$ per person, for these special hotel enforcement officers to be sure that the guests are safe at all times. Believe me you will have a great time, enjoy your stay.

Nothing in Aruba will ever be good, again, until the secret of Natalee Holloway's disappearance is revealed.

Caution to all young people going there: watch you back and the backs of your friends or you could be the next victim.
