I pray zero times every day that people will stop wasting noble intentions on prayer instead of taking action.

When I use to pray, I prayed for deliverance from my abusive home.

What has captured my attention is the fact that everyone is attacking the muslim people near the top of the page....that is stupid.
They sound like very peaceful and harmless people....stop being childish people...go back and read what they wrote and you might learn a thing or two.
Christians dont have exclusive right for praying you know! Pray is supposed to be available to everyone...not just those of a certain religion.
Never ceases to amaze me how petty people are. If any of the people who gave that person thumbs down consider themselve Christian....think again as what you have done is not the actions of a Christian person.
Even the Catholic Church is seeking to strengthen relationships with the Muslim community.

Hmmmm I reckon I am gonna get about a million and one thumbs down now!!!!

Good question and it probably will encourage people to if not pray more often, at least think about prayer.
-though very personal Q for a public forum.
And there's so many people on different levels of maturity in praying in a Christians life.
I would strive to be like Paul, who thanked God that he prayed more than all of those he knew and told us, inspired by the Holy Spirit, to do the same.
JIML, remember my son in your prays when you pray again please, he is 19 and wayward at the moment. Thankyou.

I pray once a day for about 20 minutes. I pray first and foremost to honor and thank my Deity, but lately most of my prayers have been directed towards my cousin and his family. He passed out drunk on the train tracks last week, and lost both of his legs, so you can at least begin to imagine their pain. He'll survive though, but they'll probably have to put him in a nursing home.
Please include him in your prayers, and his mother as well. She's barely gotten any sleep lately and is falling apart at the seems.

The bible teaches us to pray without ceasing. This is never ending. This teaching shows us that our minds should always be aware and our hearts always concerned. Our prayer, therefore, is continuous, and is never to be ceased. As long as we are human, we will carry the burdens of our heart and the burdens of others. Thankfully, the weight of them is not ours.

1 Thessalonians 5:17
Pray without ceasing.

Isaiah 58:6
Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

1 Kings 12:4
Thy father made our yoke grievous: now therefore make thou the grievous service of thy father, and his heavy yoke which he put upon us, lighter, and we will serve thee.

Matthew 11:30
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

I live in an attitude of prayer, and as im going around my daily living, I am often lifting my thoughts and requests to God.
I also spend time alone in prayer, and am then able to focus on the pressing things which I need to hand over to God's care. Prayer is communciation with God, and He loves us to pour out our desires and longings to Him.

Yes, like you I pray for family, friends, anyone I hear about during the course of the day who is in need of prayer.
For those in authority over me, in goverment, church, and work, for great wisdom for them. When I listen to the news on television, I often lift up those people who are in need, their families, and for God to have His way in each situation and circumstance.

Twice a day....when I get up and before I go to bed. I pray for my family...mostly my Mom as she's very ill mentally, my daughter's development (she's a preemie), and overall for everyone that I love to be fullfilled and in love with God and life itself.

letsee...I usually silently give thanks before every meal, pray to start my day, and to end my day. Some times I'll take a walk and commune.

I usually pray about, not for. Talk, ask questions, ponder morality and truth. When I pray for something it is usually guidance and protection. I think he is much more willing to help us become better than to intervene, though I think he intervenes when necicary.

But usually it is most comforting to just talk and meditate, to try to understand.

I don't know a number, I just pray every time my heart tells me to. I pray about anything and everything, some times just praising God and some times asking him to take care of loved ones... it just depends on the situation

,feet and ears be cleaned with a clean fresh water..It is called wudhu..If we were ill and we can not be touched by water,we can make a wudhu by a clean dust..
