I can certainly understand your situation, i was there, and unfortunately i dropped out. Originally it was just going to be for a semester...well a semester has turned into 7 years, and ive never been able to go back full time. Its hard to get back into school fulltime if you start life. You start working, having bills, having a life...and school gets on the backburner, untill you realize that your life wont be as fulfilling without a decent job, and now you cant get a decent job because you dont have a formal education. I would reccomend sticking it out, take some exploratory classes, maybe take an easy term, light load, fun classes..but dont drop out...cause its hard to start back up and if your going to regret anything, not going to school is probably something you will regret most of all if you cant make things work without a college degree. Good luck!

Maybe you need a semester away from college, just to get away. Your brain is probably saying "hey, I need a break!"
Consider some time off, get a job, read, relax. But be sure you go back.
Not having a degree is a big weight which will hold you back.
Don't worry about making the wrong choice.
Just suppose, after graduation, you do take a job and you find out it's not for you.
No big deal, just try something else.
I had 4 jobs before I found out what i liked.
You might get lucky an do it on the first try, it might take you 4 or 5. So what???There's no law, saying at 21, you must make a lifelong career decision. Relax a bit,and good luck.

Wonder shows the next: - purchase Commit (the give up smoking gum) - get the Patch - throw out ALL suits, all lighters, all ashtrays, and all cigarettes within the trash! If you don't have anything round to make use of (no lighter, no ashtray, and so forth.) it'll be plenty more difficult (and unattainable) to begin once more Find a diversion at any time when you think the urge coming directly to smoke: Call a pal, learn a publication, watch a films, do a craft (scrapbooking, needlepoint, whatever!). Do whatever so that they can hold your fingers and also you brain busy and divert you clear of smoking. Also, hold a few chewing gum or mints, or rough candu round to hold your mouth 'busy' and bite/devour a work at any time when you think a yearning approaching. And eventually, among now and March 1st, do this: Cut down by means of a million -two cigarettes on a daily basis. If you may have 10 an afternoon now, lessen to simply eight or nine day after today. Then lessen to simply 7 or eight tomorrow...... and many others etc ..... So that on March 1st, it'll be less complicated to give up fully! GOOD LUCK, Sweetie! YOU CAN DO IT!

Yeah, I would say don't quit. If you don't know what to do now you really won't know what to do if you quit college. College if anything will let you prepare for opening up your own business if that's what you want to go into. If the business fails you can always fall back on your diploma. Also, I found in college if your partying too much it's a great way to lose motivation. Just focus do your time in college and get out, your diploma is a safety net. One more thing, I saw other people say take a break. I wouldn't recommend this. I've seen this before from friends of mine, they end up never graduating becoming a permanent student. Once again just focus and do the work in the end it's worth it. Don't quit... I'm speaking from a lot of experience.

i would take a small break for a semester or two. don't stay out for long, or you'll never go back. you need to sit down, look at the classes you've taken, and look at what you want to do for your life. don't feel as though you HAVE to do a certain thing for the next 50 years. you can change your mind whenever. what would make you happiest? i'm saying to take a break because it's a waste of time an money if you are taking classes you won't need. good luck, you'll be fine.

Take it from someone who has quit college 3 times. If your choice doesnt fit you anymore dont invest more time into it. I think of all I lost by not staying in college for thouse 3 fields I was studying and have realized that if I had stayed I would have probably regreted it. I didnt want to work in either of the fields and honestly needed along time to find myself before I was sure about going into any field. You are still very young yet wise enoth to know what you dont like. Possibly take some years away from school to find yourself and instead spend the time researching fields of study in dif ways. IMO college is for thouse that dont need it. It trys to trick you into thinking some way of thinking other people have is right. Untill your sure of yourself I wouldnt suggest going to college for anyone. Thats just how I see it tho.

Stick it out if you can- really. You'll probably regret it later. Things only get more complicated as you get older - marriage, kids, life. You may never have another chance as you do now.
I got pregnant my 2nd year of college and I can't stress to you enough how difficult it is to go back later. I'm now 29 and finally finishing school. I really wish I would've done things in another order.
Best of luck

All of us who went to college went through the same crap, but most of us stuck it out. I am pleased that I completed college because it really helped me make a good living. No matter what courses you take, stick it out. You won't be sorry. Don't quit because you will regret it always.

I would say to hang in and get a diploma. It will mean a lot to you in the future , not just in getting a good job but in personnel satisfaction.
I never went to collage. I really feel I missed out. Also I work grunt jobs and have limited choices in life. With a degree the sky's the limit and you deserve it!

I think...
You should drop out.
Travel for a year or so. (www.gapyear.com)
Find yourself. And figure out what it is you want to do with your life.
And then GO BACK.
Make sure you do go BACK.
There isnt really much point in staying if you don't want to, if you're not motivated then your work isn't going to be up to high standards, and what is the point of going to college to do something you don't want to persue? It's a waste of time.
So like i said. stop. Travel. see the world. And go back when you have decided....
