I'm sorry to say I think it's crucial. If the guy doesn't take the initiative, it probably won't happen. I wish it was otherwise, but it's not.

Well, that's the way God intended it to be. He created Adam first and then put Adam to sleep; took a rib from his chest and created the woman with that. So the major responsibility falls on the man. He is the breadwinner or should be, anyway. In some cases, both have to work to make ends meet. But, when the woman is pregnant, it sure is nice if the woman can take some time off.
The man is to take the lead in courtship. All your questions and answers can be found in the Bible if you really want to take the time.....you'll learn lots and lots of stuff; get wisdom for relationship and on an on.

I think that is very important in my book. I like a guy that is into me to take the lead. That shows me that he is interested if he doesn't than he is not .

Do you mean make the 1st move "lead" or Tell her what to do "lead"
